Ahh, spring — if winter comes, can you be far behind?
The other day, I overheard someone at AVAC® say, “Summer bodies are made in the winter!”
Now, I am of the firm and unshakeable opinion that EVERY body is a “beach body” — I can’t stand the idea of shaming the imperfect ones. That’s just a garbage way of thinking, and it keeps people from having fun and living their best lives — not least because really, what is perfect? Aren’t we all imperfect? I sure am.
However, it’s true that whatever your goal, if you wait till June to get fit, you won’t *be* fit for summer, you know? This is the time to start doing the work, so you can feel and see the benefits six months from now.
Wanna be able to keep up with your kids and the dog in the park? Wanna swim in the ocean for more than 10 minutes before you have to quit from exhaustion? Wanna go on long bike rides to see the scenery, or tote that heavy full cooler to the game, or show off toned shoulders at the neighbors’ Fourth of July BBQ? Then get in the AbsoluteFIT studio today!
Trust me, it’s fun — especially when it turns out that the things we used to do for fun as kids can actually qualify as workouts today. For instance, check out my mad jumprope skillz:
You add a few of the fourth-grade jumprope chants to that, you’re gonna be unstoppable this summer.
