Absolute Variety: A Key to Continued Progress

Doing the same thing over and over and over? Not the best way to get results.

I’m a creature of routine — most people are, to some extent, but I’m on the far side of the curve. That can be a good thing, fitness-wise: I usually work out the same number of times a week, at the same times, on the same days (consistency FTW!), I track my food daily, I weigh myself regularly, and I really really really don’t like it when I can’t do any of those things.

BUT! In terms of fitness goals, doing the same workout over and over and over will eventually stop yielding results. Which is where AbsoluteFIT has a huge advantage: You never do the same workout twice. The trainers are always mixing it up, keeping brain and body fully engaged during sessions, so you never get too comfortable and you can’t get lazy — and it’s the variety that does continue to yield results.

Check out these two moves from recent workouts:

Different, eh? Fun, too!

Come on in to the studio and mix it up with me!

If you need something from her, try bribing her with good coffee or cold beer; odds are, she wants one or the other of those right now.
