Strength to Endure … The Upcoming Holiday Season!

via – Lydia M., AbsoluteFIT blogger at AVAC®

lydia heavy ballsI am not the most organized suburban mom — what Halloween decorations I managed to put up are still up, LOL! — but even I know that the holiday season is upon us and things are about to get craaaaaazy.

So I want to kick things off right here by saying: You (and I, naturally) are gonna get pinched for time. You’re going to want to ditch a few nonessentials, because you have all the normal stuff to do PLUS holiday stuff. And I’m telling you, from hard-won experience: Don’t forget AbsoluteFIT.

I know it’s only early November, but time accelerates between now and the end of the year …

It’ll be tempting — very tempting. But trust me: AbsoluteFIT is key to keeping it all together. That’s one 45-minute part of your day where you get to do something for yourself; it’s a fantastic stress-buster, keeps your color high, your skin glowing, and your abs toned for sparkly outfits, not to mention it ensures that you have the strength to lift that 23-lb. turkey and the heavy roasting pan out of the bottom oven.

Do it for you. You can’t possibly look like more of a dork than I do here:

Come on into the studio and let’s kick some butt!

Lydia Markoff is an Almaden-area writer, mom, and fitness enthusiast with Texas roots, a New York education, and a Californian heart. She plays bass, reads a lot, watches too much TV, and can be found in the AbsoluteFIT studio three to five times a week. Her life goals include having a body like Linda Hamilton’s in Terminator 2, and/or having Bill Murray randomly crash a party she is attending. If you need something from her, try bribing her with good coffee or cold beer; odds are, she wants one or the other of those right now.
