Sometimes, the setting can make a difference.
The point of working out is the workout (and yeah, the results, not to mention the endorphins). It can happen in a garage, or in a windowless cinderblock room, or — if you’re Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, in a hangarlike space in an industrial area, which you’ve outfitted with all your insane heavy iron and whatnot (see below — that’s from his Instagram).
But lucky us, we get the high ceilings and natural light of the AbsoluteFIT studio — it’s looking especially inspiring right now in summer, and if the rowing machines are turned the right way, you can pretend you’re on a spaceship making low-altitude reconnaissance runs, or rowing along in the sky, past roofs and palm trees, on your way to the mountains … wait, is it just me who does that?
Come on in, and get the mood boost of an outdoor AbsoluteFIT workout in the comfort of an air-conditioned space — I’ll race you to the ocean on the rowing machines!

She plays bass, reads a lot, watches too much TV, and can be found in the AbsoluteFIT studio three to five times a week. Her life goals include having a body like Linda Hamilton’s in Terminator 2, and/or having Bill Murray randomly crash a party she is attending. If you need something from her, try bribing her with good coffee or cold beer; odds are, she wants one or the other of those right now.
