Almaden Valley Athletic Club® Valentine Brunch

On Sunday, February 7, a group from AVAC® went to brunch to Left Bank in Santana Row.  Yes, it was Super Bowl Sunday.  But at 11:00 am we met for at the restaurant for a brunch put together for us.  We had soup of the day, a choice of three entrees and profiteroles for dessert.1

Yes it was Super Bowl Sunday.  Going to Santana Row that day had us among the fans going to the game.  We saw limos lined up at the Valencia Hotel waiting for the fans to gather for rides to the Stadium.  We saw fans with their tickets on their lanyards.  We saw streams of orange and blue shirts everywhere.  But we didn’t see overcrowding in the bistros.2

It was a quiet afternoon at Left Bank with friends enjoying each other and celebrating Valentine’s Day in a delightful setting with plenty of love and laughter.  Our waiters were attentive to all our needs and welcomed us with “Bonjour Madame”.  The meals were served leisurely so that we could enjoy both our food and conversation. 3

Social activities are part of what keeps our mind, body and spirit in fitness and good health. We plan more activities during the year.  Come join us for a good time had by all.
