It’s amazing how a little change can make a big difference.
I’m talking about the way AbsoluteFIT is forever a new workout, even if you’ve been at it as long as I have — it’s pretty much impossible to either get bored, or get in a rut.
Yesterday’s Strength and Endurance session with Marie was a great example of the ever-changing nature of AbsoluteFIT: Instead of the 50- or 60-second bursts of two alternating moves that we’re used to, Marie had us do two-minute sets of three exercises — a certain number of reps of each move, at our own pace, then switch to the next move, and so on, until time ran out. In between those, we’d do a plank set (one minute), then a bike set (two minutes). Holy crap, was that challenging! And of course, we all loved it!
I’m so looking forward to my next workout — it’s always something new in the studio.
