Last weekend, I did a strange and hilarious thing: I flew to Texas to go with my younger sister to her 20-year high school reunion.
Now, I love reunions, and I think everybody ought to go to theirs — they’re stupid fun, and it’s freeing; you get to let go of emotional baggage you didn’t even know you were dragging around. And I have to say, going to someone else’s reunion is even funner — you’ve got nothing to prove, no old scores to settle, and no pressure whatsoever.
But here’s what this particular reunion-attending trip has to do with AbsoluteFIT: Thanks to nearly a year of these workouts, I walked in there feeling good. I knew I was in excellent shape, my clothes fit the way I wanted them to, I felt strong and confident and free to focus on getting reacquainted with all those kids (they’ll always be kids to me, ha!) instead of on my own body
Not a bad way to spend an evening, eh?
