Spa Water – Your Body Will Thank You

If you’re anything like me, you cringe every time your trainer tells you to hydrate! I really do dislike the taste of water but apparently we need it to survive. Every cell, tissue, organ and joint needs water to work correctly. As many of us know, water makes up more than half our body weight. We lose water on a daily basis, through bathroom breaks, sweating and even breathing. The water in our bodies helps us regulate our body temperatures so on those really hot days it’s important to up our water intake. Cringe cringe cringe!

Orange/Lemon/Lime with Mint

By now most of our members have seen our amazing flavored water in the café. This water has become a life saver for me. Our Café guru Gaby has taken a vision and ran with it. Every day Gaby surprises us with a new design using a variety of different ingredients. Thanks to her I now thoroughly enjoy drinking water throughout the day. If you haven’t tried it yet stop by and try some! If you’d like to create your own here are a few combination suggestions for you to try.

Remember to always wash your ingredients. Start with a little ice in the bottom as it holds fruit/veg in place around the edges. Add ice after every placement until you have reached the top. Add water and a little more ice to firmly hold the design. For a smaller pitcher, add ingredients to the pitcher first and then top up with ice water.
