Did you know that exercise twice a week halves your risk of general dementia. Aerobic exercise affects mood, anxiety and attention. It helps to guard against stress and improves focus and moods. Some steps to keeping your brain and body fit are to learn a new skill, use positive “self-talk” and get out and socialize. Things to avoid are high levels of cholesterol, lack of social contact, and stress. Exercise and help to generate neurons throughout life. So let’s remember to have new experiences to give ourselves a better quality of life.
