Sleeping Under The Stars

A Breath of Fresh Air

Every once in a while we all need a breath of fresh air. I find that I enjoy fresh air the most when I’m in a redwood forest, visiting natural hot springs, rock climbing, or taking in the view on a mountain top. I had no idea that I liked fresh air enough to climb my way up a rock face or a mountain, but I’ve realized that I do, and it’s not as hard as I thought. The great thing about outdoor activities is their snowball effect, once you start going outside, you don’t really want to go back inside. And there’s so much outside to see and do that the opportunities of exploring areas of fresh air are endless.

I have spent the summer taking every opportunity I can to get outside and go to new destinations from our California Coast in Big Sur and Los Padres National Park, to the extreme high desert landscapes of the Eastern Sierras and the breathtaking views of Yosemite. After visiting different places throughout California, I found new areas to explore in the Colorado Rockies rock climbing in Clear Creek Canyon, trekking out to Devil’s Head, and taking in the view from the top of Garden of the Gods.

The farther I adventure the more excited I am to keep exploring. Get outside and enjoy the fresh air!
