Homemade Pasta

In a food processor:

  • One egg
  • One cup flour
  • A pinch of salt and 1 tablespoon water
  • Pulse until it looks like cornmeal

Process:

  • Remove from processor and form into a ball
  • Cover with saran wrap for at least 30 minutes
  • Knead for a few minutes then roll dough through the pasta machine until it is stretched to a long strip of about 24 inches
  • Dry for 15 to 20 minutes then cut into strips of your choice, I cut it them into 8 inch strips
  • Place strips into the pasta machine with linguine cutter
  • Have your water boiling and when all pasta is cut I place pasta into boiling water until it all comes to the top of the water (about 2 minutes)
  • Drain and use sauce of your choice to serve
  • Enjoy!
