The Dr. Oz show is known for giving great advice about health and medical issues. If you can’t catch the show, his website has a lot of great information they cover in the episodes.

Here are some of our favorite “tips of the day” by Dr. Oz:

  1. Eat a hard-boiled egg with tea in the morning to start your day off with a boost of energy. The protein from the egg will keep you from feeling sluggish, and the tea will give you the same jolt of caffeine as coffee – but without the crash.
  2. If you’re looking for a way to stop the carbs you’re eating from turning into fat, try this small diet change: Eat most of your carbs early in the day and reduce them as the day goes on. Try to end your day with more protein. This will better your chance of burning off carbs during your day so they don’t transform into fat.
  3. Make sure you get up and move for 15 minutes after a big meal. A simple stroll around the block can help aid digestion and break down the fat in your body.
  4. If you’re looking for a way to control your weight, eat red lentils. This anti-aging super food is packed with protein that satiates you, so you’ll feel fuller for longer.
